Description
We are seeking a results-driven Marketing Automation Manager to lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of marketing automation initiatives that drive lead generation, customer engagement, and revenue growth. This individual will oversee marketing automation platforms, CRM integrations, lead nurturing programs, email marketing campaigns, customer journeys, and marketing analytics while collaborating closely with marketing, sales, operations, and technology teams.
The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strategic thinking and has experience leveraging automation tools to improve campaign performance, data quality, and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Automation Strategy
Develop and execute marketing automation strategies that support business growth objectives and customer acquisition goals.
Design and optimize lead nurturing programs, lifecycle marketing campaigns, and customer journeys.
Identify opportunities to improve marketing efficiency through automation, personalization, and process enhancements.
Establish best practices for campaign execution, segmentation, and audience targeting.
Platform Management & Optimization
Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for marketing automation platforms such as:
HubSpot
Marketo
Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement)
Eloqua
Configure and maintain workflows, forms, landing pages, lead scoring models, and automated communications.
Manage integrations between CRM, marketing automation, and third-party systems.
Ensure platform functionality, user adoption, and ongoing optimization.
Campaign Execution
Build, deploy, and monitor multi-channel campaigns including:
Email marketing
Lead nurture programs
Event promotions
Customer onboarding programs
Re-engagement initiatives
Collaborate with content, creative, and demand generation teams to execute marketing campaigns.
Perform quality assurance testing to ensure flawless campaign deployment.
Data Management & Analytics
Monitor and maintain data quality, segmentation, and database health.
Develop lead scoring and lead routing processes in partnership with Sales Operations.
Analyze campaign performance and customer engagement metrics.
Create dashboards and reporting to measure:
Lead generation
Conversion rates
Pipeline influence
Revenue contribution
Marketing ROI
Make data-driven recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, IT, and Business Intelligence teams.
Support CRM strategy and alignment between sales and marketing processes.
Train stakeholders on marketing automation best practices and platform capabilities.
Act as a thought leader for marketing technology and automation innovation.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
5+ years of experience in marketing automation, CRM administration, demand generation, or marketing operations.
Hands-on experience with one or more marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, Eloqua, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
Experience managing CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, lead lifecycle management, and customer journey mapping.
Experience building automated workflows, lead scoring models, and reporting dashboards.
Proficiency with marketing analytics and campaign performance measurement.
Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills.
