- Essential Duties

- Complete required annual in-service education.
- Required Qualifications
- Sufficient education to demonstrate functional literacy.
- Successful completion of a State-approved nurse aide training and competency evaluation program within four months of hire, or prior successful completion with no break in service of 24 months or longer.
- Acceptable verification through the State Nurse Aide Registry regarding abuse, neglect, mistreatment, or misappropriation of resident property.
- Must be able to perform the essential CNA functions safely.
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively with residents and staff.
- Must have sufficient mobility and strength to assist, transfer, and move residents safely.
