- 3 years of experience as an Intellectual Property (IP) Coordinator.
- 2 years of Salesforce database administration experience.
Must possess expertise/knowledge sufficient to adequately perform the duties of the job being offered. Expertise/knowledge may be gained through employment experience or education. Such expertise/knowledge cannot be “quantified” by “time”. Required expertise/knowledge includes:
- Advanced technical knowledge of the global IP Asset lifecycle, spanning from conception through filing, prosecution, issuance & maintenance/renewal through expiration/abandonment. This includes the ability to navigate the legal and administrative requirements of international filing, prosecution, and the strategic management of maintenance fee schedules across multiple global jurisdictions.
- Architectural Salesforce Database Administration including mastery in the back-end administration of Salesforce-based IP or Enterprise Legal management systems; experience engineering custom objects, designing complex relational data models, and deploying automated triggers, workflows and validation rules to ensure data integrity for a global user base of legal and technical professionals; and custom reporting and dashboarding of relevant Key Performance Indicators related to efficient management of IP Assets or other legal matters.
- Experience in end-to-end data management, specifically the extraction of large datasets from relational databases and the subsequent manipulation of that data via custom-coded scripts. This includes the expert use of Google Apps Script (JavaScript-based) to bridge gaps between disparate platforms and automate real-time executive reporting.
- Applied Data Analytics & Predictive Modeling: Technical experience in developing analytical solutions for the automated classification of legal text.
- Six Sigma Methodology & Process Optimization: Experience with the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) framework to optimize complex corporate workflows and applying statistical analysis and process mapping to identify operational inefficiencies, drive cost avoidance, and improve system performance.
