Huron Casting, Inc., is the world's leading producer of quality shell molded steel castings, located in Pigeon, MI. Our foundries, Huron Casting and Blue Diamond Steel Casting, are dedicated to improving our processes to better serve our customers and we are looking for employees who are self-motivated, reliable, and willing to grow with our company.
As a general laborer at Blue Diamond Steel Casting or a production worker at Huron Casting, you will be vital to the growth of our business. No experience is necessary, and good attendance is a must. We offer highly competitive wages and an attractive benefits package including quarterly bonuses. Openings are available on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.
Responsibilities
- Operate machinery and equipment in a manufacturing facility, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Assist in assembly line tasks, including assembling components and packaging finished products.
- Utilize hand and power tools as needed for various production tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the proper storage of tools and materials.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Learn and adapt to new processes and equipment as required
- Perform tasks as assigned
Job Information
- Starting pay $18.55 to $22.55 on 2nd & 3rd shift for first 90 days
- $16.85 to $20.85 on 1st shift for first 90 days
- $1.00 raise after 90 days
- Paid time off after 90 days
- Wage includes attendance incentive
- Shift premiums for 2nd and 3rd shifts
