Development Coordinator | Great Lakes Children’s Museum
Part-Time | Approximately 20 hours/week | $30/hour | Traverse City, MI
The Great Lakes Children’s Museum is looking for a relationship builder to help us grow the philanthropic support for our next chapter.
This is an exciting time for GLCM. Our attendance and programs are growing, our community reach is expanding, and we are planning for the Museum’s future—including a future permanent home.
We are seeking a Development Coordinator who enjoys meeting people, building relationships, spotting opportunities, and connecting donors and community partners with work that matters.
Working closely with the Executive Director, Board of Trustees, and Advancement Committee, the Development Coordinator will help:
- Cultivate and steward donors and prospective supporters
- Strengthen annual giving and donor engagement
- Develop corporate sponsorships and community partnerships
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospective donors and funders
- Support donor communications, appeals, and impact stories
- Engage board members in relationship-building and fundraising
- Help prepare GLCM for a future capital campaign

This is a flexible, part-time opportunity for someone who wants to use their professional experience to make a meaningful impact on children, families, and the future of our community.
