Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting plant operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Williamsburg, MI
Pay Range: $27-31/hr based on experience.
Shifts:
1st: 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday-Friday
2nd: 3:00pm - 11:30pm Monday-Friday
3rd: 11:00pm - 7:30pm Monday-Friday
What's the Job?
Survey buildings and report necessary repairs or updates to existing systems / structures to maintain health and safety standards
Pull and check fuses, knowing proper size in circuit
Clean and inspect molds for damage, perform routine maintenance on molds
Perform basic maintenance functions through a preventative maintenance system such as filter changing and replacement, oil changes, cleaning and greasing of equipment, etc.
Perform maintenance of electrical 3-phase motors
What's Needed?
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
Strong understanding of electrical (480 to 12v), hydraulic, and other systems
Experience with multi-meter use
Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
