Elite Building Services is hiring one to two Exterior Cleaning Technicians to serve residential and commercial customers throughout Grand Rapids and West Michigan.
We welcome experienced applicants, but previous exterior-cleaning experience is not required. Paid, hands-on training is provided for dependable candidates who have a strong work ethic and are willing to learn.
PAY
$19–$23 per hour, based on relevant experience and demonstrated skills. Additional performance bonus opportunities are available.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform residential and commercial window cleaning
• Complete pressure washing and soft-washing projects
• Clean gutters and downspouts
• Set up, operate and properly store equipment
• Safely use ladders and work at varying heights
• Protect customers’ homes, businesses and landscaping
• Maintain clean and organized company vehicles and equipment
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members
• Follow company procedures and safety requirements
• Complete projects efficiently while maintaining quality standards
QUALIFICATIONS
• Dependable, punctual and prepared for work
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Comfortable performing physical work outdoors
• Comfortable using ladders and working at varying heights
• Able to lift and carry approximately 50 pounds
• Able to work effectively as part of a crew
• Professional appearance and respectful communication
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation to and from our Grand Rapids shop
Experience in window cleaning, pressure washing, soft washing, gutter cleaning, roofing, painting, landscaping, construction or a related trade is helpful but not required.
SCHEDULE
This is a full-time seasonal position. Our primary work season runs from March through approximately mid-December, depending on weather. Daily starting and ending times may vary according to scheduled jobs, workload and weather conditions. Early-morning availability and occasional longer workdays are required during busy periods.
