Grand Haven Christian School, located at 1102 Grant Ave., Grand Haven, MI 49417, seeks Elementary Spanish Immersion Teachers to: Teach Spanish to children at the elementary school level. Develop lesson plans that engage and challenge all students. Assign and grade elementary level class work and homework. Provide individualized, small group, and large group instruction in order to meet the needs of each student. Stay up to date with Spanish Immersion professional development. Assess students’ academic and social growth. Keep records of student progress, prepare reports, and communicate progress with families. Identify students’ special needs and work with other professional staff to best meet those needs. Establish, manage and maintain procedures, routines, rules, and standards of student behavior. Foster positive professional relationship with school staff. Select and order instructional supplies, materials, and resources. Integrate faith with learning. Model Christian standards of Grand Haven Christian School in daily life.
