Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and fabrication, is seeking a Welder to join their team. As a Welder, you will be part of the Industrial department supporting fabrication operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and strong communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Welder
Location: ALMA, MI
Pay Range: $22.10
Shift: 6 am - 4:30 pm
What's the Job?
Fabricate items such as tubes, walls, and furniture frames using MIG and TIG welding techniques
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
Follow pre-established installation and quality methods, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistency of work
Read order-specific job travelers and engineered drawings to produce items to specifications
Use welders and various hand tools to complete fabrication tasks efficiently
What's Needed?
High school diploma or GED
Previous MIG and TIG welding experience required
Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to accurately read a tape measure and follow instructions
