As a Health Consultant, you will combine healthcare and public health knowledge with structured problem solving, data, and emerging technologies to help payer and provider clients improve how they operate , serve patients and members, and deliver outcomes.
Your Role as a Health Consultant ?
There is no typical day at Accenture. Depending on the client, project, and business need, your responsibilities may include:
Project management and transformation delivery
Support the planning, design, and implementation of health programs, processes, and technology-enabled solutions
Develop project plans, timelines, process maps, and status materials to help teams achieve milestones and delivery goals
Own analyses or defined workstreams, coordinating with client and Accenture teams to manage priorities, risks, and dependencies
Translate strategic direction and business objectives into practical solutions spanning process, technology, organization, talent, and change management
Stakeholder engagement and client collaboration
Participate in client interviews, working sessions, and workshops to gather requirements, address questions, and align stakeholders on recommended approaches
Build trusted relationships with client and Accenture stakeholders through clear communication, reliable delivery, and thoughtful problem solving
Support stakeholder updates by communicating progress, risks, findings, and recommendations
Analytics, performance, and continuous improvement
Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, assess performance, and develop recommendations
Help define key performance indicators and track outcomes related to operational performance, user experience, and business value
Use data and process analysis to identify opportunities for continuous improvement across health systems and operations
Executive communications
Use data-driven storytelling and structured communication frameworks to develop clear, executive-ready messages
Create concise presentations, recommendations, and other client-ready deliverables
Communicate effectively across workstreams and project teams through strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
Industry knowledge, innovation, and practice contributions
Stay current on healthcare trends, regulatory developments, emerging technologies, and industry practices that may affect client priorities
Responsibly apply emerging technologies, including generative AI, to support research, analysis, solution design, and delivery
Contribute to proposals, offerings, points of view, and reusable assets that strengthen Accenture's Health practice
Share knowledge, seek feedback, and contribute to an inclusive, collaborative team environment

Basic Qualifications ?
Advanced degree concentrating in Health Administration, including an MHA, MHSA, MPH, or similar healthcare-focused advanced degree
Anticipated graduation of December 2026 - August 2027 at the time of application

1-3 years of industry or relevant work experience before pursuing a graduate degree
Healthcare, public health, functional, or strategic experience
Experience using data and process analysis to create organizational value
Exposure to AI, analytics, financial analysis, or data modeling
Strong problem-solving, structuring, analytical, and synthesis skills
Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
Project management proficiency and experience using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and collaboration tools
Demonstrated leadership, learning agility, and ability to contribute effectively in a team-oriented environment
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment, managing ambiguity, and adapting to evolving client needs
Experience working with global or multidisciplinary teams
Flexibility to accommodate client travel requirements, when applicable
