Smiles on Wheels is a non-profit, mobile dental hygiene program located travelling throughout the UP to provide preventive oral health services to children in the comfort of their school setting.
In collaboration with MDHHS and Delta Dental, our goal is to leave no child without the ability to receive preventive oral health care.
Smiles on Wheels is currently seeking a high-spirited individual with the motivation to help others to fill our Registered Dental Hygienist position.
This is a wonderful opportunity for an RDH who enjoys working with children and would like to positively impact children in learning about good oral health.
This position requires an individual with a valid, current RDH license and:
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
Maintain accurate/organized records
Work well in a team setting
Ability to lift 60lbs
Ability to travel out of town
Assist in setup and tear down of mobile dental hygiene equipment
Cleaning, sterilizing, and organizing dental instruments
Maintain HIPAA and OSHA requirements, and CPR
