WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
The Resident Care Assistant (RCA) is responsible for providing general non-certified routine services in accordance with the established procedures and may be directed by your supervisors. This role specifically supports our Assisted Living, Memory Care and Intermediate residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists with housekeeping and laundry services including but not limited to, trash removal and making and changing unoccupied beds.
- Provides resident assistance with activities of daily living including but not limited to hygiene care, incontinence assistance, bathing & grooming.
- Assists with all aspects of meal service including but not limited to, transportation of residents to and from dining room, tray delivery, and ensuring great dining experience.
- Answer residents call lights promptly. Ensures that residents who are unable to call for help are checked frequently.
- Assists to ensure residents comfort (i.e., check sitting position, hydration passing, etc.)
- Assists with personal care responsibilities according to state regulatory guidelines.
- Medication distribution and documentation through electronic system Quickmar.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED/HSE preferred
- 1-2 years of relevant experience.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Wage: $16-$17/hour
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Shift availability: Day Shift (Preferred) $.50 differential and third is $1.00
