What will you be doing?
Disassembles, repairs, and reassembles machinery and equipment utilizing manual and power tools, and general tool room equipment such as: lathes, mills, grinder, etc. In doing so climbs, kneels, stands, sits, or crouches while handling items of various sizes, shapes, and weights
Troubleshoots problems from reading electrical and hydraulic schematics; uses electrical testing equipment.
Maintains departmental files of work orders, maintenance requisitions, preventative maintenance histories, and other related records.
Performs a variety of building, machinery, and equipment repairs, installation, or modification requiring hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and electrical skills.
What do you bring?
Positive, can-do attitude
Approximately three to five years of job related experience is necessary to learn maintenance procedures and equipment operations.
Analytical skills necessary to evaluate machine/equipment functions.
Obtain a Hilo license within the probationary period.
