Work Schedule : Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. We support core auto applications that make it possible for our employees to service our auto customers. The candidate is expected to commit to a 2-year rotational program and have a desire to learn and develop new skills, have a general curiosity, be detail oriented and be able to demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.

The Business Systems Management (BSM) rotational program consists of the teams listed below that support a variety of functions within the DFS auto space for both the consumer and commercial portfolios.
Consumer Systems - Supports consumer retail and lease auto servicing accounts throughout their lifecycle.
Commercial Advantage-Facilitates dealer wholesale lending, floor planning and billing.
Auto Servicesand Reporting - Includes a variety of functions. Key areas include data analytics and reporting to support the business systems space, as well as our letter generation and document management oversight activities
Consumer Acquisitions Platform Strategy & Optimization (CAPSO) - Facilitates underwriting and originations for retail and lease auto contracts.
The Work Itself
Meet with business teams to understand and document specific business needs related to the systems used to service our customers
Interview subject matter experts, technical staff, architects, and other resources to gather requirements, analyze artifacts, and solution for system enhancements
Deconstruct business processes and interlay with technical workflows to recommend solution requirements
Serve as thought leader for both the business and technical processes analyze
Create, maintain, and update detailed documentation including business requirements, process flows, use cases, and user stories to convey the current state and target goals
Works closely with product owners, business leaders and technology to provide clear user stories and requirements for development teams
Translate and communicate complex technical documentation and subject matter between technical and non-technical audiences
Reviews software design, change specifications, and plans against process requirements
Assist in providing final approval documentation for implementation of IT and functional requirements
Produce and present easy-to-understand documentation and supporting visuals for clear and concise representation of the analysis completed
Liaising with the product owners, software development, and testing teams
Defining the appropriate test to be carried out including the test data to be used
Understanding of various stages of system testing (i.e., performance, integration, regression, functional, etc.)
Assist in SQL coding and querying to support applications, if applicable
Assist in creating and implementing configuration design solutions
Assist in creating dashboards for internal stakeholders that track and interpret key metrics
Provide support for development releases
Additional duties as assigned
The Qualifications We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
Program Eligibility : Must be graduating between July 2026 and June 2027
Graduating with a Bachelor's. Students who go straight from a Bachelors to Masters Degree in this area may also be considered.
Must be able to start on July 7, 2027.
Eligible to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship from the company now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree in computer information systems, business information systems, computer science, business administration, finance, accounting or related field.
Formal training in the Information Technology field, specifically around application development is highly desirable.
Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and diagrams.
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Well-organized and thorough approach; able to structure, analyze, and answer questions, balancing multiple requests and competing priorities.
Adaptable, motivated and able to deliver results in a dynamic, fast paced, cross-functional environment; self-sufficient and collaborative team player with desire to have fun within a result-driven organization.
Strong customer relationship skills are critical, including strong listening skills a must.
Above-average planning and organizational skills and attention to detail.
Uses logical reasoning process to break down and work through a situation or problem to arrive at an outcome or solution.
Basic technical proficiency which could include experience in reading and querying SQL, Oracle and/or knowledge of relational databases, Microsoft office applications, coding languages, configuration applications, business intelligence, etc.
