New Ventures Technology & Innovation | Firm Associate Director Strategy, Growth and Transformation
The Associate Director, Strategic Initiatives supports the Strategic Initiatives Leader in advancing NVTI's highest-priority programs, serving as a trusted thought partner and execution backbone across a portfolio that spans product governance, strategic external partnerships, and firm-level cross-functional initiatives.
The role requires substantive understanding of product strategy and lifecycle, including familiarity with product governance frameworks, platform-to-product models, and investment prioritization. It also requires the organizational fluency to navigate Deloitte's matrixed environment across businesses, enabling functions, and Global, building credibility and momentum with senior stakeholders without direct authority.
This role is designed for a leader who can move fluidly between strategic framing and operational execution: distilling complexity into clarity, preparing senior-leader decision materials, tracking progress across concurrent workstreams, identifying risks, and proactively course-correcting to sustain pace and quality across the portfolio.

Work you'll do
Strategic Program Execution
Portfolio Management
Track progress across multiple concurrent NVTI workstreams and maintain visibility into priorities, dependencies, and decision points.
Identify execution risks, surface tradeoffs, and proactively course-correct to keep initiatives moving.
Create operating discipline across workstreams through clear planning, follow-up, and accountability routines.
Senior Leader Support
Prepare materials that enable senior-leader decision-making, including structured briefings, options, recommendations, and status updates.
Distill complex product, partnership, and governance topics into clear, executive-ready narratives.
Represent the Strategic Initiatives Leader in working sessions and stakeholder engagements with confidence and discretion.
Product Governance & Investment Prioritization
Product Strategy
Support work related to product strategy, lifecycle management, and platform-to-product models.
Help translate product governance concepts into practical operating mechanisms and decision forums.
Contribute to investment prioritization discussions by organizing inputs, clarifying choices, and documenting rationale.
Governance Discipline
Maintain clarity on governance cadence, required decisions, owners, and follow-through.
Ensure materials and discussions connect strategic objectives to execution implications.
Stakeholder Engagement & Matrixed Influence
Cross-Functional Alignment
Operate across businesses, enabling functions, and Global to build alignment around shared priorities.
Develop credibility with senior stakeholders by bringing structured thinking, follow-through, and sound judgment.

Qualifications
Required Experience:
Bachelor's degree
10+ years of relevant experience in management consulting, strategic initiatives, business transformation, go-to-market strategy, product or asset strategy, or a related business-focused discipline within a complex organization.
2+ years of experience managing people and/or business processes, including setting priorities, assigning work, establishing operating routines, coaching team members, and monitoring quality and outcomes.
Prior experience leading ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution, including defining objectives and scope, structuring work, aligning stakeholders without direct authority, managing dependencies and risks, and delivering measurable business outcomes.
Preferred Experience:
Prior experience navigating Deloitte's matrixed organization or a comparable global professional services environment, including collaboration across businesses, enabling functions, and Global to build alignment and advance priorities.
Prior experience taking consulting products, assets, packaged offerings, or accelerators to market alongside consulting services, including developing go-to-market plans, defining commercial models, evaluating investment or funding needs, and measuring expected ROI.
Prior experience developing and executing business-side product or asset strategies, including lifecycle planning, governance, investment prioritization, strategic partnerships, new venture development, market entry, and scaling offerings for internal or external clients.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $151,400 to $278,900
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
