Raymond James is seeking a ServiceNow Business Analyst for the ServiceNow Platform Team within the Service Management Solutions Team. The Service Management Solutions Team provides technology solutions and support across the entire Raymond James Organization built on the ServiceNow platform.
As a ServiceNow Business Analyst, you will work closely with business owners across the Raymond James organization to maintain a solid knowledge of the functional capabilities of the various areas on the ServiceNow platform. You will use agile methods to analyze, define and document requirements. You will work with business owners, the development team(s), and leadership to drive consensus on scope, design, and implementation decisions. You will also conduct agile ceremonies to your assigned area of focus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage stakeholders, collect requirements, and design solutions to meet business process and application requirements.
Establishes story acceptance criteria, necessary metrics, and overall intent/goal.
Translates technical complexities to business owners to drive solutions.
Communication and coordination between the relevant business owners and the agile development team.
Ensures the scrum team has a clear understanding of end-user stories to be developed in the system.
Create and maintain issue logs, schedule meetings, and take meeting minutes (when needed).
Communication and coordination between the relevant business owners and the agile development teams.
Participates in sprint reviews by representing business owner's interests and coordinating with them to elicit feedback.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education/Previous Experience:
Must have a solid background in business process and requirements gathering.
Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of experience documenting and analyzing business processes in the form of end-user agile stories.
Familiarity with the FSO, ITSM, ITOM, IRM, PRF processes a plus.
Scrum Master skills would be preferred.
