Do you take pride in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming space? We’re looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Guest Room Attendant to help make every guest’s stay a great one.
As a Guest Room Attendant, you’ll play an important role in the guest experience. You’ll prepare and service guest rooms, keep hotel areas clean and inviting, restock supplies, and make sure the details are taken care of before the next guest arrives.
What You’ll Do
- Clean and service guest rooms to established standards, typically completing 10 or more rooms per shift.
- Make sure bathrooms, bedrooms, floors, furnishings, mirrors, windows, and other room areas are clean and guest-ready.
- Remove used linens and trash and replenish towels, linens, amenities, and other guest supplies.
- Vacuum, dust, sanitize, and clean surfaces throughout guest rooms.
- Check televisions, lamps, clocks, and other room items to ensure they are working properly.
- Identify and report maintenance concerns or items needing attention.
- Stock and organize housekeeping carts, linen rooms, and supply areas.
- Sort, fold, transport, and restock linens and assist with laundry as needed.
- Help maintain clean and sanitary corridors, stairwells, and other assigned hotel areas.
- Follow proper procedures for the safe use and handling of cleaning products and equipment.
- Provide friendly and courteous service when interacting with guests and fellow team members.
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need years of hotel experience to make a great Guest Room Attendant. We’re looking for someone who is dependable, hardworking, attentive to detail, and takes pride in a job well done.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous housekeeping, hotel, or professional cleaning experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to read and follow instructions and safely use cleaning products and equipment.

- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and extended hours when needed.
- Ability to perform an active, physical job that includes standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Must comply with the Sault Tribe’s Drug-Free Workplace Policy, which may include random drug testing.
