Purpose
Assembles complex small to large size engineered electrical panels/products (including prototypes and engineered to order jobs) to specified drawings/schematics and to specified quality standards. Assist engineering in ensuring first type build documentation (BOMs, Schematics, Print Package, Wire List, Work Instructions) are correct for future orders.

Essential Job Functions
- Knowledge and experience of mechanical and electrical assembly techniques
- Work with engineering to update drawings, boms, wire lists, and create work instructions
- Detail orientated and quality conscience.
- Lift, handle, bend, and crimp large gauge wire.
- Handle up to 26-pound components on a consistent basis and perform medium duty mechanical assembly as required.
- Use forklifts and crane/hoists systems and to lift panels/components in a safe manner.
- - Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical/layout drawings, and bill of materials
- - Use common hand and power tools including drills, jigsaws, crimpers, etc
- Ability to wire complex units in a neat and organized manner following customer wiring standards
- Assemble mechanical parts and cut sheet metal as required
- Use label makers and printers
- - Consistently and strictly follow customer quality standards and required checklist
- Follow all OSHA and Company Safety Standards and Policies
- Plan and organize work, locate and analyze mechanical problems
- Work well with others and in a constructive manner.
- Generate improvement ideas and be a part of the improvement process.
Requirements
- Possess good verbal and written skills.
- Demonstrate good mechanical ability with hand, air, and electrical tools.
- Able to differentiate colors to identify wires and other component values.
- Ability to read and speak English
- Ability to work in fast pace environment.
- Physical requirements are lifting up to 26 pounds and bending/standing 75% of the time.
- Must be able, with minimal supervision, to plan, layout and mount components in panels, cutout and modify enclosures, and wire panels within the time allowed without errors.
- Must be able to interpret electrical drawings and customer specifications as they might apply to each job.
- Must demonstrate superior productivity and be consistently flexible in work schedule to meet customer needs.
Essential Physical Abilities
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Other duties may be assigned based on business needs.
Education/Experience
Required:
- Educational requirements are a minimum of a High School Diploma.

- Ability to Travel 0% of the time
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
