Duties: Develop core C++ software components and frameworks for ingesting, processing, and abstracting high-definition map data, enabling scalable and high-performance automated driving solutions. Design robust unit tests and maintain high standards of design documentation and code reviews to ensure reliability, maintainability, and compliance in embedded systems. Integrate and validate modular mapping components in production-intent embedded platforms (QNX),while balancing performance, system safety, and resource constraints. Collaborate with localization, perception, and planning teams to define clean interfaces and optimize data flow across mapping and downstream pipelines. Train and mentor new hires, fostering a culture of clean, modular code and engineering excellence within the team.
