Hinduja Tech, Inc. is in need of a CAE Engineer(s) to work in Farmington Hills, MI and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. to perform FEA, MBD, and fatigue analysis on vehicle bodies, closures, and chassis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet durability and strength targets. Interpret simulation and test results to identify structural improvements. Support the development of lightweight, high-strength vehicle structures. Create and refine simulation models using Nastran, Altair Hyperworks, Abaqus, and ANSA. Validate models by correlating simulation data with physical test results. Participate in design review, offering simulation-based recommendations. Prepare clear technical reports and documentation of analysis results. Apply engineering best practices to enhance simulation accuracy and efficiency. Demonstrate strong teamwork, enthusiasm, and leadership in project execution.
Must have a Master's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering (any), or a related field, plus two (2) years of automotive engineering experience as a Commercial and Industrial Designer, Design Engineer, Research Engineer, or related position. The two (2) years of automotive engineering experience must include experience with the following: Altair Hyperworks, Nastran, and ANSA.
In the alternative, we will accept a Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering (any), or a related field, plus five (5) years of progressive post-Bachelor’s Degree automotive engineering experience. Two (2) years of the five (5) years of progressive post-Bachelor's Degree automotive engineering experience must include experience with the following: Altair Hyperworks, Nastran, and ANSA.
All experience may be acquired concurrently. Travel and/or relocation may be required. Frequency of travel approximately 10% per year. International travel is not required. Domestic travel and relocation to unanticipated locations throughout the United States required as needed based on Hinduja Tech Inc. business needs. Incidental telecommuting may apply. EOE.
