DEPARTMENT DETAILS:
In this role you will be part of a team that is instrumental to the company's leadership position in the automotive industry. Supplier Quality Engineering ensures capable supplier processes in order to guarantee the right quality and quantity of parts, on time, that meet customers' expectations. Supplier Quality Engineers partner with suppliers to review manufacturing processes, develop quality systems and ensure the highest quality components will be provided for our vehicles. Supplier Quality Engineers make sure all supplied parts are robust, repeatable and conform to dimensional and performance requirements. We strive for best-in-class quality and warranty by developing suppliers who provide zero defects and exceed customer expectations. Supplier Quality Engineers utilize skills to identify and resolve vehicle issues at both Stellantis manufacturing plants and supplier facilities.
Internship projects are available within multiple commodity areas (Body/Exterior, Interior, Chassis, Electrical, Propulsion and ePropulsion), the Supplier Integration Management team, the Process, Methods and Warranty team or within the Supplier Quality Assembly team.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in one of the following engineering disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, Aerospace/Aeronautical, Biomedical/Biomechanical/Bioengineering,Welding, Materials, Metallurgical, Mechatronics or related field
Completion offreshmanyear or higher at an accredited college or university by Spring 2027
Proficient withMicrosoftOffice Suite applications
Able to work full-time,40 hoursper week during the internship
Willingness torelocateforinternship, if applicable
Ability to travel to suppliers and manufacturing facilities
Must be willing and able to work in a manufacturing/plant environment
Authorized to work in the United States

Previous internship with quality experience
