Our client, a growing manufacturing company in Fraser, MI, is seeking dependable and motivated Press Operators to join their 3rd shift production team.

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with the potential for direct hire after 90 days, based on performance and attendance.

Once hired directly, employees become eligible for company-paid benefits after their first 60 days as a direct team member.

Job Responsibilities

As a Press Operator, you will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment producing and inspecting plastic components. Responsibilities include:

• Operate and monitor production and injection molding equipment.

• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet customer and quality specifications.

• Review work instructions and Quality Alerts before beginning production.

• Trim excess material or flash from finished parts as needed.

• Sort, inspect, package, and label finished products.

• Produce and assemble sub-assemblies for production lines.

• Connect various parts, components, and switches.

• Load conveyors and maintain proper material flow.

• Stock parts and handle production materials as required.

• Complete required testing, production paperwork, quality records, and documentation.

• Apply internal and external labels accurately.

• Identify and report product defects or quality concerns.

• Participate in team problem-solving and continuous improvement activities.

• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

• Follow all company policies, procedures, and OSHA-required safety standards.

• Assist team members with additional production duties as needed.

Qualifications

• 1 year of injection molding or press operator experience preferred, but not required.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Strong attendance and punctuality.

• Reliable transportation is required.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.

• Strong attention to detail and quality.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Willingness to learn multiple production functions and assist the team as needed.

Attendance Bonus

Employees who meet the company's perfect attendance requirements are eligible to receive a separate $40 bonus each week.

That's an opportunity to earn approximately $2,080 in additional bonuses per year with consistent perfect attendance.
