The Forge is a small, friendly BBQ restaurant known for great food and warm hospitality. We’re looking for a reliable, customer-focused cashier to join our team and help keep service smooth and welcoming.

Position Details

• Hours: 10–15 hours per week

• Schedule Requirement: Must be available on Fridays and Saturdays

• Pay: Minimum wage + tips (negotiable for experienced applicants)

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm, friendly attitude

• Handle customer orders and process payments accurately

• Maintain a clean and organized counter area

• Assist with light cleaning or side work as needed

• Prepare menu items accurately according to recipes and customer orders

• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary food preparation area in compliance with health and safety standards

• Portion, slice, and assemble ingredients efficiently to ensure consistent quality and minimize waste

• Assist with stocking ingredients, rotating inventory, and monitoring product freshness

• Support teammates in a collaborative, small-team environment

Qualifications

• Previous food service, customer service, or cashier experience preferred, but not required

• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude

• Reliability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Availability on Fridays and Saturdays is required
