They are looking to add an Accounting Clerk to their team who will play an important role in the day-to-day accounting operations. Accounting Clerk Responsibilities:
Process weekly/biweekly payroll accurately and timely, including maintaining employee records and resolving payroll-related questions
Process accounts payable invoices, including coding, data entry, approvals, and payment processing
Manage accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, cash receipts, account reconciliation, and follow-up on outstanding balances
Perform daily and monthly account reconciliations and assist with maintaining accurate general ledger records
Assist with month-end close activities and preparation of financial reports
Maintain organized and accurate accounting records and documentation
Respond to vendor and customer inquiries related to invoices, payments, and account balances
Assist with maintaining accounting schedules and supporting documentation
Identify discrepancies and independently research and resolve issues
Provide general accounting and administrative support to the accounting team as needed
Take on additional responsibilities as the organization continues to grow

Requirements
2+ years of accounting experience preferred
Previous experience with payroll, accounts payable, and/or accounts receivable
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong Excel and general computer skills
Excellent communication and follow-through
Self-motivated and comfortable working in a hands-on environment
Resourceful problem solver with a "figure it out" mentality and the ability to learn new processes quickly
Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative member of the team
