Prestige Stamping LLC is currently seeking candidates for the position of:
Press Operator
Day & Midnight Positions Available
Day shift Hours are 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
Midnight Shift Hours are 11:00 pm - 7:00 am
Job Responsibilities:
As a Press Operator, you’ll play an important role in keeping production running safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Operate press machinery to produce quality parts according to production requirements and supervisor instructions.
- Inspect machinery and equipment before use and report any safety, operational, or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor part quality throughout production and work with Quality Control to address any issues.
- Load coils, monitor cradle operation, and ensure the correct steel size and grade is being used.
- Safely handle, band, and return coils as required.
- Remove and install die sections and die shoes following proper safety procedures.
- Monitor steel alignment and make adjustments as needed to maintain proper production.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Complete required production paperwork, including E.O.R. tickets, hopper tags, and tool correction forms.
- Follow all company safety procedures, policies, and work instructions.
- Communicate equipment, quality, material, or contamination concerns promptly to supervisors or team leaders.
- Assist with other production-related duties as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Must be 18+ years old
- Must have good communication skills,
- Excellent attendance, including being on time for your shift every day,
- Must be a team player,
- Must be able to pass a physical, lift 50 lbs. and be able to work on elevated press platforms
- Minimum 2+ years die setting/ production experience
