Job Title: Lathe Machinist - 2nd Shift Job Description
Join a fast-growing company as a Lathe Machinist on the 2nd shift, where you will contribute to the manufacturing of high-pressure water jetting equipment. This role involves precision engineering, production efficiency, and diesel engine optimization.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC lathes.
Perform Mazatrol code edits on the controller.
Execute own setups, tool changes, and offsets.
Interpret blueprints and guide sheets.
Conduct basic inspections using standard measuring devices like calipers, micrometers, and gauge pins.
Provide feedback to leaders to improve manufacturing processes.
Perform setups efficiently and in a timely manner.
Essential Skills
4+ years as a CNC Set-Up Technician/Machinist on lathes.
Experience with Mazatrol code edits or conversational programming.
Proficiency in blueprint reading and holding tight tolerances.
Ability to use micrometers, calipers, depth micrometers, and bore gauges for inspecting finished parts.
Strong math skills, including fractions to decimals conversion and calculator usage.

Work Environment
Work in a very clean and climate-controlled facility built in 2021, featuring many different departments and areas. This position is for the 2nd shift, running from 3:30 pm to 12 am/2 am, depending on 8/10 hour shifts. Training will be conducted on the 1st shift from 5 am - 3:30 pm for 2-4 weeks based on skill level. The workweek is Monday through Friday, with the possibility of Saturdays. A 10% shift premium is offered for the 2nd shift.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $56160.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
