Experienced Automotive Technician / Mechanic – Lansing, MI
Established Lansing-area automotive repair shop is looking for an experienced automotive technician / mechanic to join our team.
This position is for someone with professional automotive repair experience who can diagnose problems, perform repairs, and work independently without needing to be trained on the fundamentals.
Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of professional automotive repair experience

Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

Experience with brakes, steering, suspension, engine repair, cooling systems, electrical systems, and routine maintenance

Ability to accurately identify needed repairs and complete work efficiently

Familiarity with modern diagnostic equipment and scan tools

Dependable, professional, and able to work independently

Valid driver's license

ASE or other automotive certifications preferred, but not required

Someone with solid real-world automotive experience who takes pride in their work, can diagnose problems accurately, and can handle repairs from initial inspection through completion.
Compensation is based on experience and skill level and will be discussed directly with qualified applicants.
This is an experienced position. Minimum 3 years relevant professional experience required.
