Experienced Automotive Exhaust Fabricator / Pipe Bender – Lansing, MI
Established Lansing-area automotive shop is looking for an experienced exhaust fabricator / pipe-bending technician to join our team.
This position is for someone with hands-on experience bending and fabricating automotive exhaust systems, not an entry-level technician.
Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of professional exhaust fabrication / pipe-bending experience

Experience operating an automotive exhaust pipe bender

Ability to measure, bend, fit, cut, and fabricate exhaust systems

Experience with mufflers, catalytic converters, resonators, hangers, flanges, and related exhaust components

Welding experience

Ability to diagnose exhaust problems and determine appropriate repairs

Dependable, professional, and able to work independently

Valid driver's license
What we're looking for:
Someone who can take an exhaust job from diagnosis through completed fabrication and installation without needing to be trained on the fundamentals.
Compensation is based on experience and skill level and will be discussed directly with qualified applicants.
This is an experienced position. Minimum 3 years relevant professional experience required.
