Manpower is currently seeking experienced and motivated Resistance/Spot Welders for a growing automotive manufacturer in Sterling Heights, MI. This position is ideal for candidates with manufacturing experience who enjoy hands-on work, spot welding, quality inspection, and mechanical assembly.
Job Title: Resistance/Spot Welders
Location: Sterling Heights
Pay Range: $18.00 to $24.00
What's the Job?
Operate resistance welding and spot welding equipment to join metal components.
Assemble automotive components and subassemblies according to specifications and work instructions.
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production documents.
Position, align, and secure parts in fixtures, jigs, and clamps.
Set machine controls, including air pressure, hydraulic pressure, and weld timing.
What's Needed?
Previous resistance welding or spot welding experience preferred.
Manufacturing, automotive, or assembly experience required.
Ability to read and follow work instructions and blueprints.
Experience using hand tools, measuring instruments, and production equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Basic computer and math skills.
