Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Program Study Engineer to support a leading OEM in Dearborn, MI. This individual will be responsible for evaluating changes between legacy and new vehicle architectures to determine impacts on upcoming vehicle programs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with vehicle architecture, CAD data analysis, manufacturing processes, and program coordination within an automotive environment.
Additional responsibilities will include:
Serving as the central point of contact for study status, helping surface bottlenecks, clarify ownership, and drive accountability across teams that contribute to the cost input process
Comparing existing and new vehicle architectures to identify design and manufacturing changes
Conducting upfront feasibility and forecasting studies to assess program impacts
Pulling and analyzing CAD data, performing overlays, and reviewing engineering calculations
Creating and presenting findings through PowerPoint presentations and program documentation
Developing study packets and deliverables for each program milestone
Tracking timelines, key dates, and deliverables to ensure alignment with master program schedules
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support vehicle program planning and execution
Compensation: $35-43/hour
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineer, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
3+ years of experience in a related field
Proficiency with CAD software (NX and Teamcenter)
Experience analyzing engineering data, performing CAD overlays, and evaluating design changes
Strong understanding of vehicle systems, manufacturing processes, and program lifecycle management
Ability to create and deliver technical presentations and communicate findings to leadership teams
Strong organization skills with experience managing multiple studies, timelines, and deliverables
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Familiarity with GMOD (Global Manufacturing Online Database)
