Pegasus Springs, formerly Pegasus Springs Therapeutic Riding Center, has become synonymous with Equine Therapy in the Northeast Michigan region, being the first non-profit organization to offer professional equine therapies, now exclusively serving U.S. Military Veterans and their families with behavioral health services as a Veterans Administration Community Care Network provider. Our peaceful location on the edge of the Huron-Manistee National Forest makes it the perfect place for finding peace. We use horses in our services if requested, but never, ever required!
The Barn/Farm Manager position offers a live on-site private apartment with shower. We prefer no pets, but this can be negotiable. Non smokers only.
The ideal applicant will be a U.S. Military Veteran, in good health, able to carry out typical farm tasks in all weather conditions, meet the needs of our six horses, assist with some farming/pasture needs, equipment maintenance and snow removal.
