- Master’s degree in counseling, education, or another relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- A minimum of four (4) years counseling/advising experience.
- Ability to assist students with study skills and implement educational programs for students.
- Ability to effectively use counseling skills in a variety of situations.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to compose, proofread, and edit various communications and prepare and give presentations to students and faculty.
- Skilled at organization and presentation of data using critical thinking skills to analyze and make recommendations based on data.
- Ability to maintain the strictest standards regarding confidentiality of all student information.
- Experience in Student Affairs management of student issues.
