Technician Levels & Qualifications
Entry-Level / Apprentice Technicians 0-2 years of automotive experience or recent technical school graduate
What You'll Bring
Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections
Assist experienced technicians with repairs and diagnostics
Complete multi-point vehicle inspections
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow Ford service procedures and safety standards
What You'll Bring
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
Strong desire to learn and develop technical skills
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Valid driver's license required
Light Duty / Mid-Level Technicians 2-5 years of dealership or independent repair experience
What You'll Do
Perform brake, steering, suspension, and maintenance repairs
Diagnose and repair basic electrical and drivability concerns
Complete engine performance maintenance and minor repairs
Utilize scan tools and Ford service information systems
Maintain productivity and quality standards
What You'll Bring
Hands-on automotive repair experience
Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and repair procedures
ASE certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction
Desire to advance into more complex diagnostic and repair work
Journeyman / Experienced Technicians 5+ years of automotive technician experience
What You'll Do
Diagnose and repair complex vehicle concerns
Perform engine and transmission repairs and replacements
Troubleshoot electrical, drivability, and advanced vehicle systems
Complete customer-pay and warranty repairs efficiently
Assist with mentoring and developing apprentice technicians
What You'll Bring
Advanced diagnostic and repair capabilities
Experience with gas, diesel, HVAC, and advanced vehicle systems preferred
ASE Master Certification preferred or equivalent experience
Proven ability to produce quality repairs efficiently
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ford Certified / Master Technicians (Preferred)
