Open Position: Great Start Readiness Preschool (GSRP) Associate Caregiver
Responsibilities:
- Assist the GSRP lead teacher in all activities, learning centers / programs, small-group activities, and preparation as defined within the program guidelines and expectations
- Supervise students in the classroom, on the playground, during meal / snack time, and during arrival / dismissal routines
- Ability to perform set-up, assistance and maintenance of a warm, inviting environment
- Follow all licensing requirements as set forth by the state of Michigan
- Perform other duties / assignments as directed by the program director or designee

Education / Qualifications / Skill Set:
- High school diploma required; Child Development Associate (CDA) is preferred
- Experience working with preschool children is preferred
- Develops strong relationships with a balance of rigor and respect
- Is a self-motivated, self-starting, independent problem-solver
- Possesses strong interpersonal abilities and communicates well both in-person and electronically
- Is team-oriented, a selfless classroom leader, and has a servant-oriented mindset
- Can manage student issues / concerns independently, etc.
Compensation / Schedule:
- To Be Determined
- Monday through Friday in accordance to the Pirate Preschool Early Learning Center Calendar
