Behavior Technician (BT/RBT)
Brookside Pediatric Therapy LLC is looking for compassionate, motivated, and reliable Behavior Technicians (BTs/RBTs) to join our growing pediatric therapy team. Our team provides individualized, evidence-based services to children and works closely with BCBAs and other clinical professionals to support each child’s development and success.
Position Summary
The Behavior Technician is responsible for providing direct one-on-one behavioral therapy to children under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The position involves implementing individualized treatment plans, collecting data, teaching skills, and supporting children in developing communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills.
Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children in a clinic-based setting.

Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the BCBA.

Follow behavior intervention and skill-acquisition programs as directed by the clinical team.

Collect accurate and timely data during therapy sessions.

Support children with communication, social, play, self-help, and daily living skills.

Use positive reinforcement and evidence-based behavioral strategies.

Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for clients.

Collaborate with BCBAs, SLPs, OTs, and other members of the therapy team.

Communicate professionally with supervisors and clinical staff regarding client progress and concerns.

Complete required training and maintain required certifications.

Maintain confidentiality and follow all company policies and procedures.

Attend staff meetings, supervision, training, and other required activities.

Complete session documentation accurately and on time.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous experience working with children is preferred but not required.

Experience in ABA, behavioral health, education, childcare, or pediatric services is a plus.

RBT certification is preferred; candidates who are not currently certified may be considered and trained based on company requirements.

Must be dependable, patient, compassionate, and comfortable working with children.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to follow detailed treatment plans and collect data accurately.

Ability to maintain professionalism in a clinical environment.

Must be willing to complete required training and supervision.

Schedules may vary based on client needs and clinic operations. Candidates should be comfortable working a consistent schedule and participating in required training and supervision.
