Early Childhood Educator Apprentice
The ECE Architects is seeking motivated individuals to join our U.S. Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship Program as Early Childhood Educator Apprentices.
This earn-while-you-learn opportunity combines paid employment, structured on-the-job learning, professional mentorship, and Related Technical Instruction (RTI) provided by The ECE Architects. Apprentices develop the knowledge and competencies necessary to build a successful career in early childhood education while working alongside experienced early childhood professionals.
What Apprentices Will Learn
• Establish and maintain safe, caring, inclusive, and healthy learning environments
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences
• Observe, document, and assess children's learning and development
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and communities
• Follow Michigan child care licensing, health, safety, and professional standards

Compensation
Apprentices begin at $13.75 per hour and receive progressive wage increases as apprenticeship milestones and competencies are achieved, reaching $17.00 per hour upon successful completion.
Who Should Apply
We welcome individuals who are passionate about working with children and interested in building a professional career in early childhood education. Previous professional child care experience is not required for entry-level apprenticeship candidates.
