As a Phlebotomist, you play a vital role in the healthcare journey by ensuring accurate specimen collection and exceptional patient experiences. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and commitment to quality help support timely and accurate diagnostic testing.
What You'll Do
Perform venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, and geriatric blood collections with accuracy and care
Collect, label, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures
Verify patient demographics and obtain required patient acknowledgements to ensure specimen integrity
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company and regulatory requirements
Deliver exceptional customer service while fostering trust and confidence with patients
Travel between multiple patient service centers and/or physician office locations as needed
Maintain a safe, professional, and organized work environment
Work independently while managing multiple priorities in a high-volume setting
What We're Looking For
A current, up-to-date resume
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
Patient Service Center experience preferred
Medical assistant, paramedic training, or phlebotomy certification preferred
Strong customer service and patient communication skills
Keyboarding and data entry experience
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and a clean driving record
Flexible availability to support varying staffing needs, including overtime, weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage as needed
Ability to meet compliance requirements
