Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Maintenance Group Leader for a top manufacturing client. This individual will lead a team of maintenance technicians in supporting plant operations by ensuring equipment reliability and minimizing downtime. The role requires hands-on expertise with CNC machinery and robotics, combined with leadership experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will drive preventative maintenance initiatives, troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain production efficiency and safety standards.
Day-to-Day:
Manage a small to medium-sized team of maintenance employees
Oversee maintenance and repair of plant equipment and facility systems
Perform and oversee equipment checks, testing, and evaluation of results
Diagnose equipment malfunctions and recommend solutions
Ensure completion of preventative maintenance activities
Maintain production schedules and uphold quality standards
Enforce compliance with labor agreements and company policies
Promote safety standards and maintain housekeeping practices
Collaborate cross-functionally with teams outside the immediate workgroup
Optimize use of personnel, materials, and equipment
Establish and execute plans to complete maintenance projects and tasks
Pay Range: $35-41/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave.

Skills and Requirements
· Experience supervising teams in a manufacturing environment - especially skilled trades
· Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment, specifically CNC machinery and Fanuc robots
· Knowledge of mechanical AND electrical concepts within maintenance
· Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems · Experience with controls
· Experience supervising UAW employees
· Automotive OEM background
· Knowledge of geometric dimensioning & tolerancing
