Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Job Description
Join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, where you will play a key role in coordinating the shipment and receipt of materials and products. You will be instrumental in ensuring the production line is supplied with the necessary materials. This position operates Monday through Friday from 7AM to 3:30PM, with occasional overtime on weekends if needed. Steel-toe footwear is required from day one.
Responsibilities
Oversee the shipping and receiving of inbound materials and outbound products to major clients.
Coordinate the supply of raw materials to the production line.
Stage materials for shipping and monitor the production process.
Complete final packaging of products according to work instructions.
Perform cleaning and organization of the workplace to maintain a safe environment.
Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure efficient production and adherence to deadlines.
Participate in continuous training within the production department.
Perform additional production-related activities as instructed by management.
Essential Skills
Experience in material handling and general production.
Proficiency in using RF scanners and loading techniques.
Ability to lift 35 pounds repetitively and perform tasks that require squatting, bending, and ducking.
Good attendance record.

Work Environment
Work in a spacious, 30,000 sq. ft warehouse that is part of a larger 150,000 sq. ft facility. The area is completely renovated and spotless, providing a clean and climate-controlled environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pontiac, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.11 - $21.11/hr.
