Dr. Charles Barker’s Family Practice is a RHC office that strives to provide Hometown Care with a personal touch. This position allows you to provide direct care to both children and adults. You will work alongside our Doctor and Physician Assistants assuring our patient receive the highest quality care.
This position is a full time, benefit-eligible role that will allow you to expand your healthcare knowledge by spending time both at the Front of the office as well as rooming patients. Our employees receive:

Essential Job Duties
- Maintain a professional demeanor with patients, caregivers and coworkers
- Documenting patients’ information, while adhering to HIPAA regulations
- Taking patients vital signs
- Administering Immunizations/ venipuncture
- Assist providers with minor surgical procedures
- Assist with check in, check out and other front desk responsibilities
Qualifications
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (recommended but not required)
- BLS certification
- 1 year experience in a Family Practice office
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience with EHR software
