Production Associate - 1st Shift

Manufacturing
Howell, Michigan

We’re hiring dependable Press Operators / Machine Operators to support production of steel and aluminum components used in vehicle bodies and structural parts.
Steel toe boots required.

Key Responsibilities:

Load coils and operate stamping press equipment
Rack, stack, and move stamped parts safely and efficiently
Inspect parts for defects and quality standards
Support press line start-up and production flow
Troubleshoot minor equipment issues
Follow safety, 5S, and TPM processes
Maintain clean workstations and production areas

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED
1+ year manufacturing / press / production experience preferred
Ability to identify metal defects (steel/aluminum)
Comfortable with repetitive, fast-paced work
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand 8–10 hours
Reliable transportation (weekends required)

Hands-on press plant environment (heat, noise, heavy equipment)
Repetitive work including racking and material handling
Temp-to-hire opportunity based on performance & attendance
PPE required: steel toe boots; additional safety gear provided
