Traveling Industrial Pipefitter

Job Location - Pontiac. MI

Pay Range: $40.00 - $45.00/hour

Per Diem: $168/day worked

Responsibilities

• Roll groove pipe

• Bend stainless tubing

• Install pipe supports

• Install pipe hangers

• Read blueprints

• Interpret isometric drawings

• Assemble piping systems

• Install process piping

• Measure and lay out pipe

• Cut and fit materials

• Thread and groove pipe

• Perform hydro testing

• Work from specifications

• Maintain jobsite safety

• Collaborate with crews

Requirements

• Industrial pipefitting experience

• Blueprint reading skills

• Isometric drawing experience

• Stainless tubing experience

• Roll grooving experience

Scope of Work

Seeking experienced Traveling Industrial Pipefitters for an industrial project in Shelbyville, KY . Qualified candidates must be proficient in rolling groove pipe, bending stainless steel tubing, installing pipe supports and hangers, and reading blueprints and isometric drawings. This position involves installation, assembly, and modification of industrial piping systems in a manufacturing and industrial environment. Candidates must be able to work safely, follow project specifications, and maintain high-quality workmanship throughout the duration of the project.

Compensation: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour plus $168 per diem per day worked . Travel is required.
