Our client, an electric motor company, is seeking an experienced Electric Motor Winder to join their electromechanical service team. As an Electric Motor Winder, you will play a critical role in rebuilding, repairing, and testing AC and DC motors to OEM standards. This position blends hands-on technical execution with precision workmanship, ensuring all motor components meet strict quality and safety requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, deep winding expertise, and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex motor issues in a fast-paced shop environment.

Pay Rate: $38+/hour
What's the Job?
Disassemble, inspect, diagnose, and repair AC and DC electric motors.
Remove damaged windings and prepare stators, armatures, and rotors for rewinding.
Wind, form, install, and connect coils according to engineering specifications.
Re-insulate motor components using proper materials and techniques.
Perform coil winding, lacing, soldering, brazing, and varnishing operations.
What's Needed?
Minimum 3 years of electric motor winding and repair experience.
Strong experience with both AC and DC motors.
Ability to read and interpret winding diagrams, electrical schematics, and technical specifications.
Knowledge of motor testing equipment and repair procedures.
Understanding of industrial motor construction and operation.
