Job Description
The Material Planner is responsible for ensuring the timely flow of materials required to support production schedules and customer demand. This individual will manage inventory levels, monitor material requirements, coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders, and proactively resolve supply chain issues to minimize disruptions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education but will vary anywhere from $24-$28. Benefit packages while on contract for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements
-Associate's degree or 3-5 years minimum related work experience.
-Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and prioritize work.
-Team player with high energy and a can-do attitude.
-Ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
-Associate is required to have effective communication skills both verbal, as well as written.
-Overtime expected and required on short notice.
-Material Requirement Planning knowledge required.
-Capable of understanding and conducting basic arithmetic and statistical operations.
-Ability to quickly recognize errors and inconsistencies in numerical data.
-Familiar with Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint. -Automotive background.
-Experience with kanban system.
-PC skills/CIGMA.
-Leadership abilities.
