Position Summary:

The HVAC Technician/Installer is responsible for installing, servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, customer-service abilities, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, replace, and commission HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, thermostats, and related components.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot heating and cooling system problems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine service on HVAC equipment.
• Read and interpret equipment specifications, wiring diagrams, and installation manuals.
• Perform electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration-related work within applicable licensing requirements.
• Test system operation and verify proper airflow, temperature, pressures, and overall performance.
• Identify defective components and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements.
• Maintain accurate service and installation records.
• Explain system operation, repairs, and maintenance recommendations to customers in a professional manner.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow company procedures, manufacturer specifications, and applicable building, electrical, mechanical, and safety codes.
• Maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and inventory in good working condition.
