Position Summary
We're looking for a passionate and dependable Baker to join our team. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys creating fresh baked goods, takes pride in their work, and understands the joy that a warm muffin, fresh cookie, or homemade pastry can bring to someone's day. As a Baker at The Grind, you'll play an important role in helping us deliver the quality and homemade touch our customers know and love.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, muffins, cookies, breads, and other baked goods.
- Follow recipes while maintaining consistency and quality standards.
- Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients for daily baking needs.
- Decorate and finish baked items as needed.
- Monitor product freshness and maintain attractive displays.
- Keep baking areas, equipment, and storage spaces clean and organized.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines.
- Assist with inventory, ingredient ordering, and supply organization.
- Help develop seasonal and specialty baked goods.
- Pitch in wherever needed to support the team and provide a great customer experience.
What We're Looking For
- Previous baking experience is preferred, but we're willing to train someone with a passion for baking and a willingness to learn.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Positive attitude and reliable work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and stay organized.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Team-oriented mindset and willingness to help others.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
