Job Summary:
Operate production equipment and perform assembly tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to produce high-quality automotive components while following standardized work instructions and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble automotive parts and components according to work instructions.
- Operate production machinery and automated equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform visual and functional quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
- Load and unload materials from production equipment.
- Maintain production rates and meet daily output goals.
- Identify and report quality defects, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns.
- Complete required production documentation and quality records.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Keep the work area clean and organized using 5S principles.
- Assist with changeovers and basic machine troubleshooting when required.
- Work effectively as part of a team and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience in automotive (3 to 6months)
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 35–50 pounds throughout the shift.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and rotating shifts as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic math and communication skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with quality inspection tools and production documentation.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Typical Working Conditions:
- Manufacturing plant environment.
- 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts, depending on production schedules.
- Frequent standing, repetitive hand motions, bending, and lifting.
- Exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.
Shifts:
- 1st shift: 5am start $16.00 / 2nd shift 4pm start $16.50 / 3rd shift 11pm start $16.65
