About the role
Develop,maintain, and enhance plant operations planning, reporting analysis, and tracking systems using Microsoft Office,SAP,and manufacturing software tools.Workswith plantpersonneltosolve technical issues andcommunicateand enforceIT standards. Support themanufacturingengineersand managementin defining information technology needs andappropriate software/hardwaresolutionsfor plant users.Key responsibilities include:
Review,evaluateand implement requests from user departments.
Analyze systems problems,determineroot-cause,andinitiatecorrective action.
Troubleshoot at the physical level of the network, working with network measurement hardware and software, as well as physical checking and testing hardware devices.
Define end-user needs,and work withothertoarchitect/design, implement, test, document, andmaintainend-user system(s). Develop clear and concise documentation for instruction manuals.
Identifyend-user training needs and provideappropriate hardware/softwaresolutions.
Support andmaintainplantapplications andinfrastructure systems including desktops, servers,printers,and phone systems.
Ensure data/system securitycomplies withTorocorporate policiesto protect the Toroinformationtechnologies from unauthorized access, use, or interruption. Ensure information technology security provides the necessary safeguards for good business practice and meets all corporate and government regulatory requirements.
Work with other Toro plants tohelp drive alignment and standardization to cross-plantand enterprise systems.
Drive continuous improvementusingemerging and commercially available technology services and processes to increase effectiveness.
Provide backup support to other regional Torocompany locationsas needed.This involves helping withday-to-dayissues and traveling to support large project implementations and helping provide coverage.
Participationin On-Callrotation or availability forhigh priorityincident resolutionoutside ofnormal business hoursmay berequired.

What we're looking for:
Minimum4years ofexperiencewith eitherprogramming/systems analysis, systems software applications, PCrepair, orproviding support to usersrequired.
Experience in Microsoft desktop OS (Windows 8,9,10, etc.),Microsoft O365,datacommunications, operations and personal computersrequired.
Ability to solvetechnical issuesand escalate whenappropriate.
Experience with PowerShell and other scripting languages desired.
Mustbe able tomaintainPC's, printers, peripherals, andinfrastructure.
Comply withphysical plant requirements, steel toe shoes, able to lift50lbs., able to walk/standthroughoutthe day.
Outstanding customer service focusrequired.
Providestimelyandaccurateupdatesto the ITSMticketing system.
Effective time management skillsrequired.
Excellent decision making and problem-solving skillsrequired.
Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience in a clear and coherent mannerrequired.
Ability to work with a broad constituencyand havetolerance for the different work styles of the various clientsrequired.
Ability to work in an environment that may be occasionally stressful whenassistingclients on siterequired.
Strong communicationskillsrequired.
