Job Description
A client of Insight Global in the Lansing, MI area is seeking a Production Supervisor to join their team! This individual will be responsible for overseeing 25-45 production employees, coordinating staffing across multiple teams, monitoring safety and quality performance, and ensuring production goals are met. The supervisor will proactively address attendance issues, production downtime, quality concerns, and workforce adjustments while providing regular updates to business leadership on operational performance. Success in this role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with the ability to coach employees, support team leaders, and drive continuous improvement across safety, quality, and productivity metrics.
Compensation: $33/hr to $37/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements
6+ years of leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Understanding of basic safety standards - Union experience
Automotive industry experience
