First Community Bank is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Branch Manager to oversee the local Grand Rapids retail operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in branch operations including but not limited to processing standard transactions, vault maintenance, opening/closing/general maintenance of accounts, wire processing, project management, process management, and leadership of the local team. This is an active working position in which the Branch Manager is responsible for all aspects of the branch including working in the roles of Teller and Universal Banker.
Duties: Execute branch objectives-Onsite contact for clients, vendors and team members- Ensure customer satisfaction through exceptional service delivery
Skills: Previous banking experience required. Advanced deposit/retail banking knowledge. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to be proactive, problem solve and successfully work through difficult situations while remaining focused and detail oriented. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong technical, math and reasoning skills. Strong organization, time management and listening skills. Accuracy with calculations and excellent cash handling skills. Ability to manage, detail oriented, projects while maintaining organization and meeting critical timelines. Ability to follow-thru and be proactive in client relationships.
Ability to understand and follow Federal and State regulations. Ability to be proactive and self-motivated in a fast-paced work environment. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Data Base Software. Lift up to 20 pounds of coin.
Benefits: Full-Time Year-Round, Monday-Friday 8:15a-5:15p with a one-hour unpaid lunch, No Weekends. Some communication outside of the standard business hours to address team member communication and/or security.
